YounJin Lee(b. 1994) experiments with various “ways” that can be combined in the compositional structure of painting. Using her paintings as a medium, she cuts, fills, separates, and reconstructs them, identifying patterns in the resulting rules and then deconstructing them again in a variable manner to create her own cyclical style. In this way, she attempts various interactions that can occur inside and outside the composite and responds to the flow of change.
